We don't run six separate initiatives; we run one approach to community wellbeing that happens to touch six areas of life.

Evolve Empowerment Initiative began in 2023 in Kisumu City, when our Founder Joy Obuche saw children walking hours to school with no guarantee of a meal at the end of it, mothers walking further still for basic healthcare, and young people with real leadership potential but no platform to use it. What started as community empowerment and awareness drive has grown into a community-led organisation working across education, health, leadership, empowerment, climate action and human rights — always starting from what the community already knows it needs.
